I just went to vote – my duty as a citizen – part of upholding the laws. Unfortunately, the laws are being broken for this election. Our New York City law, adopted twice by the citizens of New York in public referenda, limit public officials to only two terms. However, our Mayor, and Brooklyn Borough President as well as others finishing their second terms are running for third terms. I can’t quite figure it out.
